We report here on the case of a patient with shortness breath, chest pain, and cough that escalated to non-productive in the setting of an acute exacerbation asthma induced by the inhalation of pure albuterol sulfate about 500 mg/m3. We describe our management of this case. CASE REPORT A 38 year old female patient, presented with two months of non-productive cough. She had suffered from asthma for several years. Her previous treatment regime used inhaled steroids and a bronchodilator inhaler.
